The radar was pointing up the straight and getting people only about a third the way down it thus the perception of how the photos are arranged that it was slow. I was turning in at the dogleg around 220. |

I have no doubt it exceeded 200km/hr, bad positioning of the radar on my behalf. |

Awesome stuff..... i live just near lakeside and could hear the cars hittin it up!! its awesome to know its gettin used.... but the facilities out there are sooooo run down....... really needs constant maintanance and some repairs/improvements!! but as previously mentioned this is all happening shortly! |

so whats the go guys is lakeside going to open up full time again??, hope so would be awesome to see the racing events start there again, not only for motorsport, but driver training etc and the jobs it will create as well as money into the local community, and also see the v8 supers come there, just thing of the rush and fun for all, best of luck keep me informed, will most likely start and arrange a race car for this track and help with support and more in anyway, been in motorsport and racing for well over 40 years |

There are strict noise restrictions now with no exceptions. It will be mainly private track days and driver training. Come september, the track will close again for approx 6 months for major upgrade's to improve safety and facilitie's. |
