Love how the sites going on the classified side of things but when ever im looking at cars bikes or anything for sale theres hundreds of items that are months or even years old that r still on the site seems silly to me it has to be wasting space on the servers and is annoying when using the site maybe if all post older than 3 months got deleted or an email sent to the person if its still for sale or not.

Thank you for the feedback.

You should find that the results are shown in order of last update / most recent - although it would make sense to purge old results there are plenty of sellers that leave their car for sale for a year consistently waiting for someone willing to purchase. One could argue that they aren't selling because they're priced too high, or something like that, but it's difficult to screen everything out without mistakingly removing valid adverts.

Something else you can do is use the advanced search option which gives you an option to limit the results to adverts updated in the last day, week, month, quarter, year, etc - you might find this helpful also.

FYI, we made a recent change and are no longer keeping ad's that are older than 12 months.

If an ad has been on the site for more than 12 months without an update it will be removed automatically.
