I'm putting this suggestion out there so it gets more publicity
For help with car theaf.

Could there be away that running a advert in with the adverts at the
Top of the forum page. Eg have it appear in every 5th ad.

This could be very helpful to recovery.
I've been in this situation before where I've come out from work
And my car was gone. Very gutted feeling.
Be good to know there is help here.

Maybe even see if it could be done where you click the ad link and
Gives full details of vehicle and particulars of how and where it was
Taken from.
Followed by a Status report.

Then followed by thread.

Also can there be stricter reprimands for people being rude
Bagging vehicle or owner over what occurred or what his choice
Of vehicle is.
Had a read through the stolen TT commodore and was discussed
With the rude replies I seen.
Have these people no respect or decency.

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback, constructive criticism and new ideas are always welcome.

Whilst it will take time to develop on your concept, I can immediately say that a recent change has been made that allows the starter of a topic effectively become the topic owner and they can therefore delete unwanted/rude/abusive comments in their topics.

I am hopeful that this form of self moderation and control over people's own topics will help fight against inappropriate comments.

McLeod, why not have a stolen car topic inside 'general forums' for people to post a thread for their stolen car.

As it seems the last 2 months has been a huge spike in stolen cars and people are making new threads all over the place for them. If we had the 1 central topic for stolen cars/bikes it would keep things a little neater.
