Just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Nathan or Nath as most call me, and this is PHOBIA, my 1986 Toyota Corona RT-142.

The Corona has been in the family since new. I actually purchased this exact car of my Nan in 1996 with no intentions of building it into what you see here today. Things just got a little carried away, as they do.....

Anyway, here are a few recent pics of PHOBIA, the current specs sheet and a link to the full build up pages on the Toymods board and the recent feature in "Custom Cars Online"
Anyway, fire away with any questions you have, and make sure you come say geday if you see me out and about. Enjoy.

    Ha ha ha tough crowd.

It's ok though, I modified a Corona, you have to expect criticism, it's definitely left field.

It's obviously not my daily drive, so getting bashed isn't really a concern, thanks for looking out for me though.

When building a car to be shown, individuality scores more points than practability.

Ah fuck it, I don’t need to defend my decision. I like my Corona, nah, I love the little thing, makes me happy every time I see it.

It could be worse, I could have a frightfully normal car! wavey.gif

Not my cup of tea but I can definitely appreciate the work that's gone into it.

Good on you for doing something different that you feel passionately for.

I like something about the bonnet work, can't say what though.

Good on ya mate. I like when someone thinks outside the norm. Hell, I look at cars as a way to express ourselfs, and you have done that!
I actually think, if u ever got bored, it would be fun to take the kit off, put the hubcaps back on, some semi slicks and presto, you have a fantastic sleeper! But once again, that may not be your taste.
    Keep up the good work.
