well as said i am selling my ROTOR to get something a little more luxury and slow.

i love the toyota soarer like the 92, 93 shape things i dont know the year? but i was thinking metalic black, black tint windows, big chromies, and then adding AIRDRAULIC SUSPENSION.!!!

this will in no way be intending to go fast. more of just a luxury cruising car that looks really nice and gangsta!!!

what do you guys think??

i have seen some for sale around the 13k mark private but have heard you can pick them up for as low as 10k. what do they cost to import????

any ideas???

if anyone knows importers please tell me.

i have been quoted around $4400 for the air suspension kit from burning customs. how good are the kits and how good do they do there job of looking gangsta????

tell me all you guys know about my plans. thanks

well when i talked to them they said it would be 1400 or so more if they installed it. they told me i could easily do it myself because iam a mech and plus its a bolt in kit.

another question, does the suspension also raise left to right as well as back too front and what sort of lift and lower hight are we talking?????

Keep your rota man!!! Why are you selling it... to me is looks pretty damn sweet eh smile.gif... just don't buy the soarer and then wish you still had your rotor. I once owned a series 1 and I really regret fucking it off and not doing the 13bt conversion that I had always wanted to :/

But I guess you have already been there done that kinda thing... but there is just so much potential with em and they are such a mad ride...

I dunno man... just think real carefully before you fuck of something you have put so much heart and soul into.

ARGGGGGHHH too many decisions brain overload what to do what to do every body is saying dont sell it.

Remember, if you want the car to JUMP or even just bounce...OR EVEN rise quickly, you'll have to get mother-huge air lines and HUGE storage tanks. Not to mention, a pretty damn decent pump.

here ya go blown

it costs about 8-9 thousand to import

goto www.w-a.co.jp .... thats where he went to do the import

are u after manual or auto??

blown13b
Post #11

well i dont want jumpage. but yeah i want the rest i think 3/4 is the biggest air lines for them. i dont know i might have to go to there shop so i can ask more questions.

V8 would be the go if you're not after speed... the TT's are quicker and easier to modify... but, in the long run the turbo's will invariably have more issues than the 1UZFE. The V8 is also more luxurious..

Try jumping on the mailing list at: www.prestigemotorsport.com.au

Geoff Risbey can get exactly what you want and arrange all the shipping/compliance etc until you drive away...

Ok, go the V8, going by what your saying it would be better. And dont some soarers have airbags stock? Anyway, my oppinion would be, a nice NON ricey front bar, nice wheels, prefferibly polished, and yeah bags and have then down most of the time, oh and hide the exaust, looks better.

BTW shotgun first ride tongue.gif

Hey man, i seen u out on thurz nite i think, got the el cheapo green TT soarer.. they a nice car, but if ur patient like i wuz u can pick one up at a good price.. so just keep that car goin and look for a cheap one! they a good car, the ladies love it! cya round

blown13b
Post #18

yeah man your v8daves mate right????? that was a farking bargain you got!!!! i am just at a point where i dont know what to do keep the rx or go the soarer!!!!!! i dont want a v8 i have been there done that for the reason of fuel and rego. i still want a reasonalbly fast car and i have been told the TT is the fastest of all. BUT then if i got a v8 one i would consider supercharging it as i have heard that they are a very strong engine. but then there would be no air suspension

cams116
Post #19

Um, the lexus V8 is UNREAL on petrol, obviously like any car if you drive it right.

Paolo
Post #20

Petey the V8 soarer would be extremely sexual u know...

V8 Dave
Post #21

the v8's have a more luxurious interior.. but go the TT.

very nice cars biggrin.gif...as you have seen.

the red krawler
Post #22

Get the V8 and then if you get the need for speed, supercharge it.

They have oodles of V8 soarers running 18psi on stock bottom end, that really is quite insane smile.gif

nash
Post #23

If you can find one, go the manual single turbo VVTI soarer. Serious performance to go with the pimp factor. wink.gif I drive the 2.5 TT and they also give a very nice ride too, and alot cheaper then the v8 and 3.0 Litre N/A's.

blown13b
Post #24

ohhhhh shit dan dont tell people!!!!! yeah i dont know what i will do yet i love driving the rx sooooo much and its still a thrill!!!!!!

cams116
Post #25

Flip a coin, if it comes up, say head for soarer, and you go, ok lets make it best of 3, then you know keep the RX, or visa versa for that matter. smile.gif

phaSe
Post #26

keep your rotor!!!!!!! biggrin.gif

V8 Dave
Post #27

pfft just sell it and get a soarer..

They are a nice ride, have some nice luxuries and they are p1mPin.. tongue.gif gotta love the sleek stylish look of the 91 -> models

only downside is that most are auto, but they are very easy and nice to drive... and in stock form they go alright.

But wat about that new legislation that cams116 posted ages ago? Didnt that have some restrictions on the modifying side? And is airbag suspension even legal? U learn something new every day.

cams116
Post #29

The restrictions are that no mods from WHEN they are shipped in, so after that you can do whatever you bloody like. And airbags are legal, hydroics arent.

SoaringMarc
Post #30

yeh V8 daves mate, buy a TT soarer and beef it up, that way u can tell me how much it costs to do shit biggrin.gif
