I did a bad and blew up my VDO Dayton tweeters.
So now i need new ones.

I'm looking for a surface mountable tweeter, with a realy flat responce, and as dull as posible. I HATE bright tweeters. Harsh is also out. I need about 50w RMS of power handeling, and they need to come with crossovers, as they will be running on their own channel on the amp. Considering hertz, but I welcome suggestions.

For something basic thats still pretty crisp and clear, clarion do a set of tweeters for about $60-70 a pair. They are the tweeters they normally package with their $200ish RRP components.

With what you want, I don't think we can sit here and make suggestions. You need to get down to a car audio specialist store and start auditioning them all. I'd also recommend you jump over to MEA and search through there.

I would avoid Focal if you don't like anything bright though.
