The large one on the turbo side of the motor plmbs back into the piping on the cold side of the turbo (pre-compressor). On my vehicle I just removed the piping right the way back to the plenum and stuck a small filter on the plenum where it joins back to

The small one on the plenum side, not sure. I removed a 1J from a half cut last weekend and can tell you I'm quite certain that I didnt need to disconnect it from the body... will check out the motor next time I am back to it to confirm for you

I've got to strip the turbo's off the motor to check those, when I do I'll take note and let you know ok smile.gif

Might be a week though

I've also posted this on SoarerCentral, someone there may be able to help

off memory that small hose is for the factory bov so its not needed and you can just block it off at the intake, for rwc you will technically have to run the large hose for the idle air control back into the intake pipe to

Thanks but yeah thats the first thing I did, blocked it off but once I did that it wouldn't idle?
Maybe the computer has to reset itself or something?
