Engine: KA24ET, Garrett T3, RX7 S4 top mount IC and 460cc injectors, 8psi

Exhaust: 3" turbo back, high flow cat, HKS cannon

Suspension: standard 2" lifted

Wheels: 15" sunraysias, 33" mud tyres

Modifications: Tinted windows, HID's, couple of gauges

Stereo Audio / Visual: nil yet

Estimated Power: 190-220hp

My beast so far, Terrano II with its original motor, the KA24E. I've turbo'd it, as yanks got these motors in their 180sx's (why they're called 240sx's in the games) and they been turbo'ing these for 20 years since they didnt get SR's and CA's. Very underrated and high potential motor with a factory forged crank, steel block and alloy head, some have reached over 1000hp with plenty of shelf parts for cheap.

Boosts very quickly, around 2200rpm, and the engine is naturally torquey with the long stroke, turbo makes it even more fun, almost stays with chev badged VE V6 fags smile.gif Exhaust was off a WRX, cut and shut it to suit. Turbo is off a VG30DET, Cima, Gloria, Leopard. IC and injectors are off a series 4 RX7. Exhaust manifold is off the shelf from US.

Engine has truck style intake manifold with vertical throttle body(for terranos and navaras. Pintaras, blubirds and 240sx's have normal horizontal throttle), works well with top mount IC and factory bonnet scoop.

Aiming for around 300-350hp without opening the motor, still need bigger fuel pump, Z32 maf and something to manage it, got an SAFCII today. Also looking at 3" Calmini suspension lift and 35" tyres for it, not 100% sure yet though. Has 2" bodylift and 1.5" suspension lift atm.

Have done everything myself except for the window tinting, very happy with the result and the low budget so far, playing the waiting game on ebay pays off smile.gif

Dont buy a motard man, They are fun for quick commutes but a long ride they are shocking. Plus you willl just end up doing wheelies everywhere.

    Kinda cool, kinda not lol

I can appreciate the effort gone into this and it has turned out quite well, just not my flavour of 4wd.

    Good work mate.

Technically not 4wd atm as I have the front prop shaft out lol, I like cars that are different, not many terrano ii's have been built up before, and i have no need for solid axle suspension etc, its still very capable offroad even in 2wd

Very nice!! Really liking the look of the exterior just needs more lift tongue.gif

Im actually in the procees of doing a complete crazy KA24E-T build into a Nissan *secret for now*. Theses motors are well under appreciated and have A LOT of potential and a huge market in the US which makes buying parts easy and cheap.

Yeah well $1300 for the 3" lift kit, which could pay for forged pistons, rods, cam and metal HG as you know, decisions decisions lol
I would have gone DE if the rwd's werent so hard to find. What have you got lined up for your motor? And what are you expecting from it?

Hmmm Id probs go turbo supporting mos over lift kit if thats the case.
Im aiming for around 400+Kw ATW, going to be a sleeper torque monster!! Will be starting a build thread on CHR soon.
    - CP Pistons & Carrillo Rods which will get fully balanced with the stock forged crank.
    - Mechanical Lifters
    - Turbo suited Camshaft
    - All Valve-Train supporting mods
    - GTX3582
    - Custom Exhaust Compoents
    - Custom Intake Manifold
    -Custom Built Sequential Gearbox

Check out http://www.ojperformance.com/ they have heaps of stuff for the KA

nice one ! I like these ,i have an older 1 but Id probly do the engine stuff tho cos your not gunna fit anything bigger than 33 inch wheels on it unless you cut stuff to make them fit ,re-build the power steer box and invest in a large box full of idler arms and inner and outer rack ends! just sayin'

Sounds like it'll be a weapon smile.gif And they are very torquey when boosted, the Terrano is 2 tonne standard, I have the bigger tyres, steel wheels and the turbo setup as extra weight, and it gets up and goes no problem, brand new Navara V6's cant keep up with me at all, even off the line. If you're putting it in something little, you'll be fishtailing non stop lol

I've seen OJ before, I'm on the KA-T forum. But my goals arent as high as yours, so wont be needing anything from them. Will only be doing supporting mods and max out the turbo thats on it, maybe go as far as another cam but nothing too hot, maybe even just a factory 240SX cam is still better profile than the truck cam

Nice setup! I just scored a Terrano II with the 240 motor too. I've been reading up on the turb kits available and there are even a couple just for Navara/Terranos! Have you bothered with a tune/ecu or just left it be for the moment?
