Hi guys! I think there is a need for a chat thread here in the Drift section - If im wrong then this discussion will most likely be closed. If I'm right please sticky this!

Just introduce yourself and your car, and where you are. Will help for when we do cruises to drift events etc etc, and handy for swapping/borrowing parts!

There are a few regulars who seem to be on here often enough to warrant a thread to chat in without chatting in tech threads etc.

To Start -
Im Rob, i am a new and used car salesman so im a pretty dodgy character haha...
Im in Morayfield which means Im dodgier than most. I have an R31 which most people on the drift forum are 100% familiar with. Beer and Rum, thanks.
Im involved with Streetwarz, and support it fully, especially once a new venue is sorted. Im a tech member on this site, happy to help out with info where i can, and happy to help you work on your car for beer and steak.

I am Timmyp34 as per my user name!

I thrash around my S13 with the SR20DET engine with mild mods. I am 1st year apprentice!! I am also sick of getting my ass rapped by cops!

Hey guys I'm nick. I drift an rb20 r32 skyline with plenty of mods smile.gif most people know me for bring so young at the age of 15. I mainly drift at archerfeild, and I'm currently in the Supercheap Auto Series and I am coming 3rd in the ladder.

hi, im Damien live at narangba just started out drifting in a r31 i picked up and doing up slowly, i own 3 cars now my holden which is my avatar, 03 nissan navara and well my r31, i'm 19, fully qualified Shopfitter get to travel round aus fitting out shops it's great.

Yeah. My main sponsor is just nice cars. So theoretically, just nice cars supports my funds.

Oh ok.

Umm, new KKR430 turbo, RB25 gearbox, NPC clutch (practically button clutch) and straight pipes. Possibly more, can't remember anymore at the moment.

Yeah im trying to organise something with a couple of local businesses but we'll see how it goes. I want to get out there and get decent at it first really. I have a friend with a sticker/graphics printing business so he can do car graphics for free, for businesses that help out with the car. For example if i wanted Carline mufflers to do the exhaust or other mechanical work, i would negotiate to have a cheaper rate etc, in return for having my friend create a large graphic to go on the car. To pay the sticker company, i would also have a graphic for the sticker company on the car. ETC!
Its easier than asking for money etc

Yeah that video was from some time ago now smile.gif I must say, I have improved alot since then tongue.gif Have been keeping a pretty good ladder position for the Supercheap Auto Drift Series. Coming 3rd on the ladder overall. Not trying to sound cocky, but I think that is pretty good for 15yo haha.

Cheers for all the support as well. Hope to see some of you guys out there!

Apart from the body roll I see from most r31's, I stay with the dirty thirty and a turbo system. smile.gif

Oh And probe changing of the camber in back and front.

What up yalll Im Buckley, I own my own auto detailing business and just invested in a neat little sr20DET 180, sorta stock mods coil overs fmik bov zorst yada yada yada, will be getting into drift soon so may come in handy as ill be rocking a L plate on track HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH any advice would be grate once im out and about,

180sx, ca still being assembled, redoing all bushes engine turbo exhaust suspension etc in the car cause i was sick of only getting 10laps before breaking down.
car will be streeted and tracked very regularly cause my daily is boring. haha.

Theres a few of us from up here hey.
I took mine out for a quick run again last night - its so fun with the setup now, just cant enough of it haha... getting a bit more confident, hitting it with a bit more speed which is actually working well.
Shit rainy days, its been pissing down her today and yesterday, but makes for a decent drive. Can practise in slow motion.

Hey I’m Studs.
- I’m 25.
- I have been around drifting for many, many years now.
- I am currently one of the judges for the super cheap series at Archerfield.
- I drive a V8 landcruiser as my daily.
- I used to own a gold 180 that was at Archerfield a lot but, recently lost it in a warehouse fire.
- Hopefully be picking up my replacement car this week.
- Have a couple of sponsors up my sleeve.
- ‘Option1Garage’ looks after my cars.

Well that’s about all I can think of at the moment.
