Engine: EJ25 2.5 litre turbo

Exhaust: standard

Suspension: standard

Wheels: 17" 11 spoke stocko alloys

Modifications: none yet

Stereo Audio / Visual: standard

Estimated Power: 170kw

Hey All this is my new WRX, little bit of a duckling compared to the old one, but i'm a fan, its quick enough and has got space! which the old supra doesnt. Heaps of body roll though, but it does sit high

Comments appreciated biggrin.gif

I wasnt the biggest fan when they were released either, however after driving one and seeing them in the flesh it grew on me quickly. The hatch is hard to come to terms with but i figure they rally it, so why not!

Agree with some of the other members on the styling not being as good as previous Subaru models.

Colour choice is tops though thumbsup.gif

Test drove one of these the other day. VERY nice. A bit sluggish, but excellent driveline & suspension. They look good too, much cleaner lines than the previous model.
I will be getting one too as soon as I sell my RVR......

a well selected set of rims and lowering would look alright.

They are a very nice ride. Good on fuel too. suprisingly, the computer tells me i'm getting around 9.8l per 100 km, which i think is amazing

Yep i'll be getting OZ ultralegerras or gran turismos in the next few months for it biggrin.gif

when the 04/05 shape came out i hated it...now i own one haha

They are nice, I have been fortunate enough to give them a little splat on the track (although the one I drove was lowered and tuned) and they are definately a fun car to drive, which is really what Subaru have always been about, drivers cars.

I would definately recommend lowering and a retune, it really unleashes the animal within.

sorry mate, dont like it. you obviously do though so have fun with it. make sure you chuck a new exhaust on there though, get that burble going!

did you buy this brand new? if so, you just made a HUGE mistake unfortunately. the MY09 is just around the corner, like within weeks iirc, and its a HUGE improvement over the MY08 and its the same price. its had some road tests clocking it as quicker than the MY08 STI!

    Cool Lancia bro. Looks neat.

As for the rex. When I saw that shape was coming out, I raced out and bought a 07. Each to their own. Big wheels and lower it and itll still look tough as!

i do like these as a car, but its not exactly appealing as a "rexy", not tough enough imo. but clean none the less
