naaa didnt do a thing. just got the kit and bolted it on. the stock ecotec can handle 10pis without any internal work. its only wen u go 12 or so u have to do sum work. thanks mate.

^^ u sure bout that? i rekon ur thinking of the acctual supercharged v6 motors that came out standard, bcoz they had different internals etc to handle the psi. the standard ecotecs r pieces of shit

The stock ecotec can handle low boost(12psi or so) but the L67 factory supercharged motor can handle a lot more boost.

Yella Terra 3.8L Roller rockers are an awesome upgrade too wink.gif

have you had any experience at all with the ecotec engine mate? these thing love boost! check out the pro flow fabrications vs, runnin 20 psi through a dead stock engine with 400 thousand kays!!!!!!!!!! has been doing so for over a year now and just keeps getting quicker, 11.80's i believe. oh and the only difference between the l36 and the l67 is the super 6 engine runs shot-peened rods, and a different style of cast piston, not a great deal of difference at all. ot, not a bad ute mate!!! wat do you think of the raptor kit? i nearly bought one before my vortech pump.

Your allowed forced induction or even a V8 in NSW if you have not previously been disqualified from driving so I dont see why you all have your knickers in a knot. No power restrictions either wink.gif

L67 motor also has a better cam bearing design and better flowing heads.
