What was the drive away price of the GT brand new? Seems sort of expensive for what is a 2 year old car now with 21000km. The secondhand prices of these were skyhigh when there was a 'shortage'. I would be buying new if they are only a bit over 30k. You will have to factor in stamp duty, rego and the fact that the tyres are probably halfway worn out if not more.

Shouldn't the car have had 3 services instead of one or is it different to bikes?

Service intervals on these cars are 9 months/15,000km

And like nearly every "low kilometer" car, the tight arses option for the km side vs the time, ignoring the, whichever comes first clause. They are the first ones to bag out a car when their exhaust rusts through, the battery fails early, the oil is gunk, seals fail, fuel systems are crap from old fuel, the list goes on.

but yes it is due for the second 18 month service

All my vehicles travel low kilometers in a twelve month period,so I like to get them serviced around rego time, just to keep it even.Funny part was the Peugeot Dealership (who love taking large chunks of my hard earned)refused to do an oil change saying the kilometers I'd traveled didn't warrant it,and with the wife's car the Holden Dealership have a real quandary,18 months old,11,000 kilometers, what service do we do?FFS,just change the oil and put a new filter on it head_wall.gif
