Hey guys. Is there such thing as a cable that connects from a USB stick to the headunit (with the same connection as ear phones?) I'm keen on using my 1gig usb stick for the mp3 headunit.. seeing as i waste too many cd-rs.. -------------------- I am heartless.

As michael has said, brands usually found only at Autobarn/Strathfield/JB have units with a built in USB. Simply plug in your memory stick and play. |

Are you sure it's not an Aux In? 3.5mm stereo plug? |

Could use any form of MP3 player with it then, however sound quality won't be as good, nor the control as a CD can give you.. ROCK ON R~R no its not AUX jack it is a usb port on the front of the head deck. I still prefer my alpine head unit with complete ipod control, you cant get any better than that. |

Just buy a "Gigamp3" head unit (fancy trademark name for mp3 player capable of handling data DVD discs)... Theres 4.7Gb of mp3s on a single disc, or 8.5Gb if its dual layer. |

hi there. i bought a sound 4 head unit from repco recently ( yeah, i know they aren't the best but the rough roads i drive on kill them all, cheap or dear. ) it has a usb plug on the front of it, a cd player, and takes sd cards. the beauty of the setup is my 1gb usb drive holds 20 cds. and it will not skip. it was quite satisfying to be the only person with tunes on a recent trip through central australia. |
