1G-GTE KE70
I love the way cops are so happy to defect the people that take care of their cars (wider tyres, better brakes, stiffer suspension etc) at places like BWCP and yet you never EVER see cops block off say Garden City Shopping Centre carpark or Carindale and defecting mums 4WD with bald tyres, no brake pads and rooted shocks.
They probably wouldn't get enough enjoyment out of it...
P.S. I was on my way to a mates house at Capalaba the other week on a friday night/saturday morning and I was at a set of lights turning right onto a big 4 lane (2 lanes each way) main road. It was an off camber corner and it was raining. I was in my other corolla (stock KE70) with 155's front and rear and as I was about 3/4 of the way through the corner the rear slid out (no.... this time it was not intentional hehe) so I counter steered straightened up and then puttered off down the road at like 50KM/H in a 60 zone as I was in no hurry and it was wet. About 20-30 seconds later this cop car comes tear-assing up behind me sirens and all.
This youngish constable did the usual power trip thing, I said it was not intentional, he then asked me if I was calling him a lier to which I replied 'no of course not sir, but I did not do it intentionally' He then, and wait for it, called for backup. So in total 4 cops in 2 cars came, one of them the Officer In Charge. I only spoke to 2 cops, the constable and the OIC but this young female copper decided to add her two cents worth every couple of minutes...
I had some dead grass in my wheelarches from about 2 weeks beforehand at a mates property at Burbank (we'd been rallying haha) and due to it being raining the grass was wet.... BUT BROWN. the cops asked if I had been doing 'wheelies' and skids on the grass around the area. I said no they still didn't believe me.
they then checked my car for defects and found none. the female cop said that they could get me for wilful damage to MY MATES PROPERTY and I said that he told me I could do it and that he owned the property. she said some shit about being careful as to what is actually considered private property so I just ignored her.
then the constable came back and told me that I had gotten sideways around the corner getting 90 degrees of angle (i didn't know I was that good at drifting to be able to pull a 90 degree drift back in) and that I launched it off the set of lights which is absolute shit because I didn't.
they gave me a ticket for excessive smoke/noise when it was a wet road and my car barely got to 2000rpm so there was no smoke OR noise involved.
I am taking this to court to try and get rid of the ticket.
