Looked like it was going to be a great day for those entered, unfortunately we had to shoot through way too early due to coming up very unprepared after only deciding to definently come up at 7am in the morning!
I've been out to the 'Bank countless times but never realised it is so inhospitable for little kids.... i think they need to stick a roof over part of the grandstand!!
Will definently be up for Dragtime in July, bubs will be older and the Torana will be on the road and racing for sure!

Thanks ang for a awesome day, what a way to do a 30th b'day except that i was REALLY REALLY hung over from last night.. god i didn't feel very well almost right up till we left at the end of it all.. an that heat .. far out thought i was gonna pass out waiting in my sauna.. err silvia lol

first time doing the drags for me.. i think i need practise.. lol 13.54s @ 112.36mph was my best run.. considering the mph, i should be getting better times, but my launches sucked lol hopefully do better next time

First of all thanks to Ange for a great day, its a credit to you and those who helped out on the day for a smooth running of the event.

Secondly sorry for my shit commentating skills, was my first time behind a mic and I tell you what it's a bigger challenge than I had expected. I have a new found respect for the people that call these type of events cause its seriously not as easy as what some people would think.

Anyway I had a great day, shame about the oil down but hey that's racing you got to take the good with the bad.

On a side note did anyone stick around till the end? I'm trying to find some photos of the last few skids I did, by the end of the day i got really fast at changing tyres ahahahhahaha 2 sets in 2 runs lol. If you do have any photos orr a vid could you please PM me when your ready thanks.

Great to see some really good times put down and if i recall MRTOYS ran a PB and so did Ange congrates .

Honestly while it sucked that we all had to wait that time ... I really don't think it warranted boo's. Poor bugger, you reckon he planned on that happening? Plus he had no idea it was leaking because he didn't lose any power at all.

Last time someone got 32 runs as the record and this time Tim got 28 ... so I really don't think it affected the day that much on a whole

started off with no oil pressure so I wasn't even going to come at all, fixed that by 11am sunday morning and eventually made it out only to blow my fmic piping off and have 0 boost/unable to rev past 4000rpm~

i dont there there will be any questions of the quality of the trasck provided with some very quick times run. Congrats to ben hunt for the 8.6 and we also ran our top MPH in the s6 with 165.14. Would love the chance to be apart of it again next year...
