hey guys my mate has a kenwood kdc 139 headunit and the code DCER or OCER is coming up i have had a search around on the net to fidn a solution and the only thing i found was that it is caused by a short out of the speaker wires or the speaker wires gorunding out so we have disconnected all speaker wires and reset the unti a number of tiems and it will still not go away. if anyone has any idea wats going onn please pm me or reply to this cheers

ok, i'm not 100% sure and people can shoot me down if i'm wrong, but when i was wiring up my kdc 139 about a year ago i was having the same problem.. but i know it was nothing to do with the speaker cables shorting or grounding cause i never connected them up, i had all 4 speakers running through my amp..

if i remember correctly, it was actually a wiring problem with the power cables and the ACC cable... what it was, is the constant power that i initially had it connected to wasn't actually putting through a strong enough voltage, so i actually had to pull it off and re wire to a new source of constant power.. that coupled with resetting the head unit actually solved my problem..

like i say, don't take me 100% for granted with this, but i was working with my brother to actually install it, and he knew a lot more about it than me.. but he explained it to me as we were going along..

hope this helps
