i replaced both the bushes in both rear sides with adjustale camber kits, rolled the guards and grinded ab it of my rear bumper an abit on the iner rear guards and it still scrubs a little with weight so ill have to get smaller coil over springs then she'll be right i hope, worst comes to worst ill ditch the fuel tank for a fuel cell.

You're going to unveil it? Have you got the OK from Holden to re-release the VT or something?

I don't see how it is a replica when it only has Clubsport front and rear bars.....that we can't even see.

I reckon it's a six banger with some bob jane wheels..

    don't believe they're 10.5in rears one bit...
You can only JUST get 20x10s under VT-VZ with rolled, pumped and slightly flared rear guards!

more engine specs hmmmmm 13.1 comp and your running standard lifters sounds like a handgenade waitng to a happen and im guessing your running a standard bottem end not 355. Not to keen on the standard manifold either they are really restrictive any where past 6500 what fuel does it run on im guesing e85 and 3500 stall is a baby not having a go at you mate just curious thats all

define bigger oil pump as well mate holdens only came out with one type of oil pump now of course they can modified etc to go to higher pressure but not size wise.... that is unless you have gone to a drup sump set up and then the oil pump would be huge but to do so would mean engine plating the car as you physically cant get a dry sump pump in with standard engine mounts and then extractors etc..... and to top it off the cost of a dry sump set up is pretty steep for a car that isnt a full race car really curious now mate

yeah man, thanks, mine are yt5000s mate they need guide plates mine do, i think u have the better version of mine when both valves in each cylinder the rockers are joined together, there much better i reckon but i like these, there getting the job done, after i finished this car (hopefully happy enough with it in a month or so) this will be the misses car an ill start a force fed build, 1 of my mates origanally owned the car and he rebuilt the engine with vn pistons because there appaerantly lighter then vt pistons an rods,i wanted a vt clubsport but i didnt want a chev engine an i herd they built vt clubbys in 5.7 only so i bought this off my mate and built my own, i was building a brand new 304 to donk straight in so i wouldnt have to have it off the rd, i was doing donuts at the industrial area near mine at around 2 am an blew a head gasket so i limped it home with the shits and i had a gasket kit ready to go with my fresh heads just back from the shop for my new engine i said funk it and pulled out my engine wit funked head gasket and started to chage it, (neighbours love me)lol it took till sun up till i got the heads off an cleaned up the block and all the head and manifold bolts cleaned up, i went an bought a massive cam an mi mate cam over an timed it in, an i put it back together, so far so good, i origanally had a efi redline manifold planned for it with a four barrel throttle body but the bloke that came out to make sure it was ready to be tuned talked me out of using that set up due to getting pulled over an bonnet popped with that would mean id def loose my rego in it pretty much for good, so i just used my bannana manifold i origanally had an should still make plenty of power, the gear box isnt grabbing propperly for some reason an it hasnt been tuned yet and it already takes off quicker then it did stock, i have faith in my bottom end but if it starts knocking then ill rip it out and build it again but with stronger 1, all for the love of horse power aye, lol, whats yours stroked to ta be making them mad horses? sounds like it moves man, what sort of bottom end are u using?

what size cam have you got mate give me all spces the banana manifold is only really good up to 5500 after that they run out of legs so really with the 3800 stall you have the manifold is really going to restrict that motor as for the throttle body it can be done and the guy who tuned it is and im sorry for saying this speaking crap or has no idea on what hes tuning i have had my hand in cars very similar to yours and as long as they meet adr and emssions then there are no dramas and the boys in blue wont pick on it for that if your worried about the filter through the bonnet just stick a reverse cowl scoop and no dramas
