Anyone know of any Backyarders or cheap places to get some Rust cut out, And a new Paint job?
I own a Datsun 510, And got quoted $12,000 for the Rust repaired and a 2pack paint job. Thats TERRIBLE. And there isnt a whole lot of rust anyway.
I dont mind paying some Cash, But $12,000. Pffffttt...

and to hurry things along and save cash u can use his stuff to work on your own car.

Theres only really 2 bad bits below the Drivers Side Doors. That i need some new metal welded in. The others i could possibly cope with, Allthough i havent attacked any other slight rusting with a Wire Brush. Im afraid to

he has been doing it for ages i think he is in his mid 40s and he started when he was 18 working with his old man.
he works out of his backyard but don't let that fool u his shed is bigger than his house.
i've seen some amazing cars roll in and out of his place.
i don't have his phone number i know where he lives tho.
dead set if u just rock up he will have a quick look at your car and give you a cheap quote.
i've never heard of him go over his quote altho i have seen him do the work and charge less than his quote.

if your at this end of the state then it's well worth it
