RxRaver
Line up the Apex of the corner,

Yank up Hand Brake quickly and hard with finger on the button OR Rev it up and Stab the clutch in second gear , YANK steering wheel towards the corner then counter-steer accordingly. Practice on wet or dirt roads, at low speeds so you understand how your car will react to your actions.

Practice will teach you the rest.

munkystylez
so how woud u do it if ur hand brake doesnt lock on good , cause when i use my h-barke it doesnt do anything only when the road is wet or on wet grass or open gravle road? plus its a front wheel drive so it wud be shit.
phatroll
leave the handbrake on for a bit longer so you establish the slide, cos you not relying on the wheels to keep you sideways, you need momentum, and plenty of it.

Important to keep the power down to pull you out of the slide.

Practice on snow or gravel, or wet open roads. thumbsup.gif thumbsup.gif

With practice you'll do it just as good as a RWD.
phatroll
and if your handbrake is no good you need to get it adjusted.

Cos in a Front Wheel Drive its all about the hand brake....

popular cars...silvias,180sx are the more common beginner cars moving on ud b looking at R32 gtsts which are abit heavier in the steerin and ae86's which are low powered and shortwheel base but so much more manuferable!!

from what ive seen the level of NZ drifting is crazy...if not better than australians, very close behind! gotta love the k style and driftcorp cars!! u NZ'ers sure know about crazy drifto styling!!
