i got a ford falcon AU all its got is an exhaust. but im thinkin of puttin in the following.micro-tech mtx-8,k&n air filter with cold air, performance headers,bigger injectors and bigger fuel punp. how much hp roughly would i gain by all thses mods ??

im not all that good with cars and chips and stuff, but wouldnt the microtech mtx-8 and the chip torque chip do the same thing? microtech is a full engine management replacement isnt it?

you dont use your old computer with a microtech!!! it replaces it all!!, so you wouldnt get a chip as there would be no where to put it ohhh and for the cost of doing the microtech its gonna be around $2000 and theres not too much point until you get bigger mods i recon

about 1100 for the computer and the rest or possibly more to install then tune!!

get your microtech piggy backed to your factory comuter so stuff like smartlock etc.... still work

i reckon my xr6 has gained about 30kw's from a pod extractors and exhaust

i'm bettering the factory 1/4 mile time by 0.7 seconds

i hear that the microtechs arnt that good, apparently they lose their memory every so often, these are the words from my mechanic...and apparently less places are doing microtechs because of it.....to be honest though they did say that microtech are getting better...but i dont know, personally im not gonna risk it, untill i have more information on them

pfffft mircotech are good!!!! i havent had 1 drama with it yet have only had it tuned 1 time and that was the original tune. and by the way i think you would find more people play with microtech then any other computer.

Stuff the blower....get a set of trumpets. I know a guy that got 600hp out of a rebuilt 4L engine and aftermarket injection and computer.
