As said double check all your connections. If these seems ok then you could of possible of choosen a bad spot to ground your amp. Easy try another spot. Or the remote wire from your deck is doing nothing. Run a bridge wire from the 12 constant on the amp to the remote to see if the amp powers on. Do not continue to run your amp like that... test measure only and you'll end up with a dead battery.
If your not confident enough with this stuff get someone around who is! Otherwise take it to a professional

Also i hope you didn't replace the fuse with one larger than was in there. Never replace with a larger as you can very easily ruin your amp.
