What it was is a cross between a holden front end and a toyota 80 series rear end with a ???? chassis underneath ( no idea what it is). it has a bombed out around 400hp 360 chrysler motor, big cam, 850 holley, port and polished heads and a 727 transflyte 3 speed gearbox and a toyota stout diff running 4.11's.

On the bitumen it lifts the front wheels off the ground... so cool man...

My neighbour (insanegemini) is about 3/4 of the way finished this buggy. I'll get some pics of his, if I remember.

Hi! This is my buttercup, she's a 2.8D. Good fun.

This belongs to my whole family.. 86 trayback desiel. has about 450000 on the clock and starts every time, never had any problems. cost us about 2k plus a new fuel pump, and weve never looked back. Its great!

Mods- Spots, lift kit, timber track (cracked) sundrasias and big tyres, snorkel, bullbar, roofbar, big fuel tank, head unit and speakers, and a little light on the back of the tray (done by yours truly). Plus the usual BnS stickers. Planned is mack dog and more spotties!

this is my beast... its got a 1997 toyota surf 2L turbo diesel engine in it... turbo and flange has been upgraded to a t25g... produces a huge 4psi

has got dual fuel tanks.. 250litres , chunky 31" tyres , lift kit, water bags , snorkle, arb bull bar, oh oh and a sports steering wheel

this is one of my 4bys, its a 90 model feroza, 2" suspension lift, swaybars and bump stops removed, mud tyres. goes just about any where have footage to prove it, mighty feroza very underrated.

heres my 2...

my sierra...was a big block 1.3... then after the photo of it under water.. it blew up.. so i had a vitara 1.6 in it... a mate walked through tthe water and it only looked knee deep.. turns out he wasnt walking through the ruts... arsehole. and one day we were out doing jumps in it.. and all of a sudden the music stopped..and the head unit was no where to be found... looked in the back and it was in about 50 pieces...

the bundera was a NA diesel... slow and painful to drive onthe road... but good fun off road.. went many a places that the sierra was jsut too crap to reach. great car.. looked after it alot more than i did the sierra... sold it jsut recently.

Thought I will contribute.....its not much at the moment but currently getting a small FMIC and a BOV fitted.

Had already done:

- 2.4 Turbo Diesel motor from a 1990 Surf (hell of alot of messing around needed to suit this truck)
- Suspension lift kit
- 2.5" full turbo back exhaust

and more on the way!!!!!

Also thought I'll add some pics of my old Petrol version 4Runner I had too (the one with the skinny wheels and not raised)(top 2 pics).

heres my old Ti GQ which i bought stock as a rock !!

After a few months I added 285 BFG mudders which rubbed like a bitch, so i put a 4inch SUperlift liftkit on it.. then a few weeks later added a 3" bodylift..

Then it looked like a rollerskate with tiny 285's so i bought some BSA 15 x 10" mags and put 35" 12.5" BFG mudders on it..

Then i started the stereo, starting with 2 x 12's, then 2 x better 12's then finally 4 x 15's which cranked !!! hit about 151db one night playing sonic animation..
also had Pioneer touchscreen DVD LCD in the dash, BMF1000D, BMF75.4, 6.5"s in the fronts and 5.25's in the back doors both with custom fibreglass pods etc..

I was going to transplant a 6.5L Chevy turbodiesel into it but at about $18K i couldnt justify it, so i bought a brand new 4.8L patrol which i added an exhaust etc to and dynoed at 203kw

So far Only the 1.3 big block as some one else put it. But has a Exhaust which surprisingly made it alot better to drive. Did have 33" of the same tyre now but were too big for serious twisting so have gone a bit smaller for time being.
