Well there website
http://www.dragcombat.com is currently having a few issues. I would say that there probably wont be one this year due to the last one being in May, and these events usually remain around the same time of the year.

autosalon drag combat was suppose to be on March 15th 2003 but it was cancelled for some reason. Nothing has been said of a reason as to why it was cancelled it just was. If u want u can check it out on the willowbank raceway web page of events. It was turned in to a test and tune day/night.
I don't think u where the only one to be hoping for another. The only reason i can come up with on why it was cancelled is cause they couldn't get any big cars or names from the US or Japan to come out. Cause they where saying everyone dragcombat event was suppose to have a big car form overseas. Last i heard they where trying to talk Abel Ibarra with his Mazda RX 7 and also they where trying to get Adam Saruwatari in his awesome Mazda RX 7. They where also trying to get few fast FWD to come out from the states. Also they where trying to get HKS to bring there Supra or 180sx drag cars out.

I was a bit dissappointed with last years event.
Seeing the same cars over and over and over and over and over and over and over again kinda made it boring

But, as it was it's first year, you can't really complain.
I would like to see the event take place annually and get bigger and bigger each year.
I suppose Jamoboree started out this way once upon a time!

To say I am pissed that it is not this year is an understatement.

I am advised that Drag Combat will be back, or something from Cabin will be, but not for a little while. I believe Cabin are also going away from just late model and are letting early model cars run. Go the early model turbo rotors!

i went last year and it was pretty good, will it was my first time at a drag day so i loved it, and the HKS skyline was fuckign sick (and only wish is ran faster at the end, they ran full max boost as in no wastgates or something like that. at the very end to try and brake the record for us but i notised more power just not eougth traction of the line (could see he was slower off the line and shit). but shit very good. And the HKS evo was good.
I like the Yellow serise VI RX-7, huge torque streer even at half track.
same it not on this year, i would of gone and entered my mid 16 mechine, lol.

Theo seems to regularly qualify his Skyline near the top of super street, few rotaries out and about and I think a rotary is number 2 in tin tops qualifying. Maybe the V8's should weld on a couple more cylinders.....
