Hokay, So here it begins (well the photos anyway) - the Sub Box - this isnt anything fancy - jsut made out of 18mm MDF to fit into the corner of the boot so that i could retain as much boot space as possible without removing the space saver:

So now for the install itself - the odds and ends out in the driveway:

The Boot as it was pre install - as you can see theres not much room so we were trying to keep as MUCH space as possible, the origional plan was to put the amp beside the battery there and if you had a smaller amp it would be entirely possible but this chunky DD C4 Amp was way too wide for the gap (as you can see):

We then decided to take care of all the power wiring. I swear i still have bruises on my hands from crimping these. (the RCA and remote wires were allready laid before the camera came out):
Fuse is a must

Earth point - cant get much better than that:

As you can see, we didnt need much power cabling in this

Hey Ruffels,

What do you do for a living to afford such a sweet car? I just ask because i worked my ass to the bone for 2 years to buy my first car, and it's only a Corolla!

Hey, what’s the spec on the digital designs sub and amp, because I’ve noticed that practically all of the digital designs go extremely hard. Have you had it in dB yet?

That would probably be because DD is a brand engineered specifically for SPL. Noted by the various world records the company holds for sound offs.

Anyway specs for the C4 amp

2 x 50wrms + 2 x 100wrms into 4 Ohms, measured at 12.0 volts.
2 x 70wrms + 2 x 140wrms into 4 Ohms, measured at 13.8 volts.
2 x 100wrms + 2 x 210wrms into 2 Ohms, measured at 13.8 volts.
1 x 200wrms + 1 x 420wrms bridged mono into 4 Ohms, measured at 13.8 volts.

And I'll be assuming, judging by the design of the basket, size of the magnet and the beefy surround that that would be a 2000 series sub? Which if that is the case has rated RMS of 300W, with quite a huge Xmax/excursion factor which enables it to pump out some huge Db.

Nice install man - your a very lucky boy

it looks great, lucky you i had to pull the whole interor apart to run all the thick 0 gauge wires to the engine bay!!!!!! it took me 5 hrs to finish my install, Ill post pic's up later. I trimed my boot in leather white and put 2 15" subs with a amp in.

Sorry to dig threads;

Nice clean install but black wire for earth!. Makes it so much easier to know what is what if you ever have to pull it out or sell the car and someone else has to change the wiring.

Once again, good work on the install!
