They do deserve a little respect I personally think they are as decent looking car with a fair amount of performance. It's the weight of the vehicle that kills it at the end of the day. If it weighed in closer to a tonne it would handle very well What saddens me is the fact that they are way over priced. They do not retain their value that well. Interior beutiful exterior nice, but when i'm along side these cars in my fd they look like a double decker bus..

It's funny when people attempt to pay Monaros out, because they're "2 door Commodores".
Does that mean a EVO is just a tarted Lancer? Or a WRX is a tarted up Impreza? By my definition, yep they are.
225KW might not seem like alot from such a big engine, but a Monaro would wipe the floor with alot of standard jap cars.

you beat me to it, I've lost count of how many lower rad/tie panels I've replaced on damaged VX onwards commies that have pontiac GTO on the GMH sticker.

Here here

They reckon lag is to give V8's a chance

logic would have that tubo's are to give 4cyl's a chance!! the fastest alcohol dragsters in the world aren't 4cyl turbos hey

if they ever catch up, smack a turbo on the 426 Hemi and there's still no substitute for cubes
