Replacing swaybar on TA22 Celica - Thought some may find this useful, although it's for the TA22, the same principles can be applied to most cars.

Step 1.
Undo bolts on swaybar “D clamps”

Step 2. While holding a spanner of socket on the bottom bolt of the swaybar end link, undo the locknut at the top. Then remove the top nut and slide out the rod. Take care to note the order of the bushes, washers and spacer.

Step 3. Remove the old bar.

Step 4. Grease up the new “D bushes” and clamps, and install onto new swaybar.

Step 5. Perform the reverse of Step 1, then Step 2. Remember not to over tighten as the bushes will be squashed out of shape and will not perform properly. Your new shiny swaybar is now installed.

It would be similar. Although you may have to remove stone trays etc to get to it.

Actually harder then it looked, but only because the SR20 meant that some welding was required. Not necessary for standard Celica.
