At my olds last night I watched someone eyeing off my car. I mean really standing there for a minute or two and checking out the inside and so on. I went outside to have words and he rode off. He wasn't just checking out a "cool car" cause the old man has seen him round a bit and he reckons he always looks into cars along the street.
Anyone had their car pinched before or broken into? What would you do if you caught them? I know there would be god himself there to stop me killing some little scum bag taking my stuff.
sorry about the rant.
Peace out.

Caught a guy trying to get into te acc(id)ent once when staying the night at my ex girlfriends house, i was holding a dolphin torch to help me see, which i then worked him over with
gotta love being able to exact some justice
(I MAY have been a little harsh considring my car had had the windows smashed like twice in the previous month while staying at said adress and i tok my fustration out on this guy)
i then drageed his sorry knocked out ass out into the gutte and made an anonymous call to the cops telling them that i had seen two kids fighting and one needed cleaning up as i was driving past....
a paddy wagon was along about ten mins later, all that was left was a few blood stains in the gutter
I HATE THEIVES!!!!!

my car's been done once at cas carpark. smashed my window and stole the amp under my seat, my cds and my ashtray which had like 50 cents worth of 5 cent coins.
was all insured but was still a pain. couldnt beleive that a new ash tray cost like 70 bucks, glad insurance was paying.... it was just those kids that ride round cas on there bikes that did it, little sh*ts. got my alarm upgraded and am now a bit more carefull of where i park.

I can only fit 2 cars in my driveway. So I choose between the City and the Calais because my mum always wants to put hers in
Ive had my phone stolen out of my car before (window down). That was Mark Turner, still tryna track him down. Hes a sneaky kid.
City was done over while I was at school (csc) one time. They took 2 12"s, rf amp and my pioneer heady. Oh and my $50 chrome window handles from repco!! Got it back same day and made them pay for the window.. that one was Bilal Abbas.
Oh yeah, I thought I should put there names. Someone on here will know them no doubt, small town Darwin. Bunch of things have been stolen lately, watch where you park your car everyone..
Ive been told that people are stealing exhaust systems, air filters, turbos, SEATS

and gauges these days too!!
I dont bother having a good system.. engine sounds good enough. Too many thieves around..
Most people know me or know who I am though so I dont think my cars at too much risk. No dramas with the new one yet though.

Had some little @#$! beak into my house last year and you know who you are cause your on here and just me IF I EVER SEE YOU IN A DARK ALLEY WAY I WILL TEACH YOU A FUCKING LESSON!

I had my old datto broken into twice. didnt steal anything though as there was nothing to steal, but they decided to break the same window twice....bastards.
back in 1996- we were going to Canada. Our house got broken into twice within about a week of each other. They only stole, money, my dads tobacco, my dads lighters and my brother and my heavy metal cds and that was it. It was before we had a dog....oh and we had a big, no wait HUGE, tin of coins which we had saved over about a year, and they opened it and stole that too.
I hate people who have NO RESPECT for the property of others.

Yeah, I've had someone break into my car before...Walked straight into the garage and made himself at home. I had only left it for 20 mins. Went to a friends house to get some supplies, eg wiring and stuff.. was relocating the alarm siren. THe Siren was disconnected.
Crims seem to find opportunities, must have been watching us work on the car or something.

Let's see - my EA Ford was broken into at Nowra, but they didn't take anything as we disturbed them. They broke the back quarter window.
And I had my XE ESP stolen right in front of my eyes in Sydney, and there was nothing I could do about it as I was 4 floors up at the time. 3 non-reflective brethren (thanks vh!!) and a piece of white trash stole it, laughed at me when they did it and drove off. Called the cops straight away, but the car wasn't located until 2 days later. It had been stripped (but left some expensive stuff in it - they didn't know what the car was) and dumped in the bush.
But what goes around comes around - the family friend I was visiting found out who they were and paid them a visit on my behalf (I had left Sydney by then). Apparently they were unable to drive for a while after the visit, and their cars were rendered unroadworthy anyway....
It's good to know people who work on the waterfront sometimes - it pays not to piss them off.
And I had my home broken into last year while we were in bed asleep. Our dog scared the crap out of them before they took anything, and they wouldn't have been game to face up to me as I was a little cranky. Wish I knew who it was as I would love to give them a personal message! Oh well, their time will come.

steal one wheel from 4 places and you have a set.
there was a report of somethign like it happening on another forum. people would steal the spare wheel from wrx's etc and the owner wouldn't notice. steal 4 spares and they have a set. and considering the spare is often in good condition from no use.

Honestly... with my Supra, I've never had anything stollen.
There's probably a few reasons for this. Fairly dark tint, usually never parked more then 10 feet away from me or in a hidden place... But most likely because I've never put anything inside. (except for two 12" subs at one stage).
These days, there's nothing you could smash and grab from the Supra... Maybe some work files in the back seat or a book or two, but honestly, anybody that'd steal the work would be doing me a favour.
Maybe the Veilside Gearnob, but the reality is that it's been developed to NOT fit any car OTHER then a 6 speed Supra shifter, Add to that, if you did steal it, you wouldn't be able to sell it for anything worth stealing it for... It's seen better days.
My head unit is ancient, and crappy, and again, anybody that steals that would be doing me a favour as well.
Stealing the whole car? I wouldn't recommend it. I didn't go budget with my security system and since installing it originally, have now added a tracking system to it as well.
