OK dickhead, do I have to explain why your point is shit. you have no idea what you are on about. It is not dinosaur technology, it is called tried and proven technology, why fix whats not broke? Leave that for the europeans, but remember, for every innovation they come up with that is good, they come up with about 150 shit idea's that just make their cars unreliable and harder/more expensive to fix. BTW, the ford I6 is 100% australian designed and made and imo (in its current form) is one of the best engines in the world, Turbo versions can make 500+hp in relatively stock form, while the same motor in stock NA form can last a million km's in taxi applications, how many Japanese motors can do that? I would like to see an RB25 or 2JZ last a million k's
Most of my argument was broad but the main points are directed towards holden, but both the cars bodies/interiors themselves are never good. Im not a fanboy, I like v8s just not aussie cars (older classics yes!)! I can see that Ford 6's are tried and tested (I had an old falcon and the motor never skipped a beat it used to tow some serious weight a lot too) and Its nice to aussies designing their own cars for a change.
But comparing an LPG run motor that gets babied around the city everyday of the week to a petrol run motor thats turbocharged and has/will get raped off the limiter by everyone it is bit slack.
Maybe a NA LPG 2j or rb25 would be a better comparision? we would never see the results as who cbf?
