So the other day the battery for my keyless entry goes flat. I've had that replaced, but now I have this issue where I can lock the car and arm the security, but it won't let me unlock or disarm it. Everything should be getting power (I mean, it's locking it), so I'm guessing something else is wrong. Any suggestions on what to do or where to go from here, gang?

Check the manual for your cars alarm/central locking system. Chances are your remotes use a rolling code and have gotten out of sync with the receiver. Often the remotes will still lock the car, but the unlock code 'rolls' and thus may not work any more. A sequence of button presses and key turns usually will re-sync the remotes but this varies from brand to brand and model to model. If you have no idea what brand the alarm is you may need to hunt around in the foot wells for the main unit and work out make and model from there. If its factory fitted you should find the info in the manual for the vehicle.
