JDM SHOWCASE

For all you lovers of imports, raceline will be conducting the JDM SHOWCASE.
If you have a hot looking import, make sure you enter the show n shine strictly for all JDM cars.
Entry forms will be up shortly.

This will be held at Queensland Raceway for the KING OF DRIFT weekend, also including RACE YA MATE open to all JDM Show cars that enter.

How long will race ya mate go for?

I don't wanna stand around in the sun all day waiting to get 4 laps on race ya mate like Super Sunday.

When will the entry forms for king of drift be available with the proper dates etc?

It's times like this I wish I had my old track Civic just to mess with all the big horsepower street cars

Last time if you remember, it was organised on a public holiday which we couldnt get ontrack to 12pm. this time with an earlier start time i will ensure that we have alot more time for this event to be run between the drifting sessions.

if you dont want to go in the show n shine and your not taking part in the dyno comp then you WILL NOT be able to go in the race your mate event. Sorry.

does that mean competitors have to play 'Para para' and/or J-pop while db drag racing

Jap made car.
Import etc.
Subaru is from japan, thus an import / jap made car thus JDM.

Ok people.
Here is the low down.
Attached is the entry form. So this gets you the Show N Shine, Race Ya Mate and Sound Off Entry plus your car and a passenger/crew member in for $60.00.
Now Dyno is $30.00 seperate.
Will also be having a show N shine for the other non JDM cars, Which will permit you to go into the show n shine,sound off and race ya mate.
Dyno still $30.00 extra.
you will need to pre-book, so print out this entry form and fill it out and fax to ian on 5537 2781 asap to reserve your spot.
event will start from 10am till 4pm.
to go into the race ya mate event please be aware of the following.

MUST HAVE HELMUT
MUST HAVE LONG SLEVES
MUST HAVE LONG PANTS
MUST HAVE CLOSED SHOES

Yuur car will be inspected for saftey before you enter and you will receive an arm band. Racing will only be down the main straight to the finish line from the start of turn 6. NO DRIFTING OR BURNOUTS AROUND THE REST OF THE TRACK OR YOU WILL LOOSE YOUR ARM BAND AND KICKED OFF THE TRACK.

Also entry for spectators is $25.00 and kids under 12 are free.

STRICTLY NO ALCOHOL

Pre-booked entries will be able to get a garage for their display, but this is limited and you need to contact Ian for this on 55378255.
Now I hope this is everything everyone needs, so get your entries in and see you all for a great fun day at the track.

Also I will post up a list of the trophies once I work them out so you all know what is up for grabs in the show n shine.

the qr event is the 29th. drifting is for the sat and sun so 28-29.

Will you be able to have a passenger in your car during Race ya Mate?

I just noticed on the entry it says winner to goes to the next round, so this isn't just a cruise session where you do laps and race people down the straight, its a knockout style event?

the event is just line up then go around and line up again. no knockout this time, just for fun.
