serious casey....
why must you insist on overprocessing the photos? they just look like anything racetape.com would put up here..... take away the photoshop and all you have are some crap photos..... from what i've seen and heard you can be pretty decent with a camera when you want to be..... why don't you focus* your efforts on perhaps trying to produce something good straight off the camera rather than relying on photoshop to make your images stand out....
*no pun intended.

no actually i just believe that the word "photography" implies proficiency with a camera rather than adobe photoshop CS4.
don't act all high and mighty casey..... you're a kid with a camera. i offer some constructive critisizm and like a true artfag fuckwit you ignore it and assume you're better than me. until this week my job was a photographic studio co-ordinator, i sold my first image at age 14, i've had 2 of my photos hang in every major art gallery in australia.... i've sold SLR's for a living..... i can take less than half your equipment and shoot better photos than you. i know what i'm talking about.... reckon i'm full of shit? go ask marvis..... this kinda shit is my job, not my way of getting street cred.

How am i acting 'high' just drop it hey? just cause you don't think my photos are up to scrap because i tried a different type of processing. And yes, I was 14 too, so? I don't have to brag about that.
You think I'm acting 'high' ....

just a bit over-processed IMO, a bit to much vignetting?
Decent shots regardless

EDIT: I do think rtb has a point though, these days too many people rely on Photoshop to make a good photo, the camera isnt being utilised enough, but hey,i do have fun in photoshop myself!

there are nice shots but i think the processing in a few of them take you away from the point of the shot..

Good effort - no harm in trying!

it's a pinhole effect..... or as i like to call it, the "hey wow what a great picture...." filter...
it's a built in feature of many new cameras these days....
i totally agree that it's fun to play around in photoshop sometimes..... but people who rely on it are not photographers.... more graphic designers than anything i guess..... i guess i'm just getting sick of all these kids who are quick to call themselves photographers, but if you handed them a 35mm they wouldn't even know how to put film in it....
learning to shoot on a digital is like going for an automatic licence.... if you do it you're either stupid, spoilt or just plain lazy...
