Does anyone know

how to get the power antenna to work with my new alpine headunit.

I've connected the 1 wire from antenna to blue wire on head unit. Still doesnt work.

Do i HAVE to wire in a relay for it to work?

Test the wire first...someone with more knowledge than me will chime in shortly but Im guessin the blue wire wont have enough current to operate the aerial...make sure thats the correct wire first...look at manual...secondly check it gets power on start up....fit a relay..

Ah ok so possibly the blue wire from the head unit wont have enough power to trigger the ANT up and down?

. Looked at the manual. Doesnt match.

either A- wrong manual.

or B - the haynes manual isnt suited to my car.

Theres no WHITE and LT BLUE wire.

So if not. Fit a relay? then there will be enough voltage for the headunit wire to trigger the ANT up and down?
