Do you flash other motorists if you see a copper or a speed camera?

fuck them, if they wanna really slow down the roads and make the streets safer.. they can stop hiding in the bushes and driving around in unmarked fucking cars and let everyone see them. i tell you what, if i see a marked copper or a obviously placed camera on the side of the road, ill slow down for sure.

Usually i refuse to flash volvo's (cos they are the car version of cyclists), mercs ( cos they are usually driven by 50 year old men who think the world owes them something), ford territories (because every single one of those fuckers are a menace to society), anyone with bicycles on their car (cos they are obviously cnuts ).

I always try to flash anyone who looks like they make a living from being on the roads! Like trucks (cos they usually flash when they see one) , delivery vans ( cos they are ALWAYS speeding)
Have to say though im in a bit of a muddle about taxi drivers! Im mean a large number of taxi drivers are unbelievably bad drivers and a lot of them are assholes. How ever some of them are really good drivers and are actually considerate to other drivers ( like they let people change lanes instead of blocking them).



Well u see because our goverment and police a rather lazy we can get away with modifying our cars to go faster, Unlike queensland where all you can do is paint it some stupid colour with airbrushed vaginas all over it and retrim the interior in pink leather, with embroidery to match your fully sik XPLOD OMG ULEH!! system

dont get me started on fucking taxi drivers! lol farkin rediculous what they get away with.

my gf and I nearly had a taxi wipe us both out the other weekend, my old man used to drive taxi's so knew all the dodgy kents, but this guy was mental!! Nearly smashed my rear end and cherie's front! I decided maxing 3rd was a good idea to put some space between us! Lucky my car is a little smokey with my valve stem seals so he got some ninja vanish :-D

I always do, MrMitsu I sort of agree with you, however until they start spending the money on fixing the roads and driver training i like to see them get as little as possible.

Oh and when they start having cameras in dangerous spots, not sneaky spots near speed changes where they're just out for an easy buck

in my eyes speed cameras are just there to raise money. ppl dont slow down coz they dont see them, so reeally they dont achieve anything. radars are different, but again they always place them in sneaky places, not places where its dangerouse to speed. i had a rant about this a few weeks ago, if u see a marked car, maybe your 10ks over, u slow down, thereby, potentialy saving life. but if its an unmarked car hiding behind bushes and u come round the corner at 60 in a 50 zone, u hit the kid and they die (hurt at 50 kill at 60) so what has the copper achieved? he got a bit of revenue and booked u
im not saying its ok to speed, but making ppl awear of speed cameras by flashing them slows them down to 10 under the limit, and on the off chance a kid runs out in front of them they might just not kill them coz u flashed them

so yes, flashing is tops

yeah if thats the case shouldn't the police be making it compulsary to flash regularly so people are slowing down all the time, instead of making it illegal to do it?
Yet another sign that its all about the revenue! Speaking of, one of my brake lights is out. I should fix it before the police charge me $110 for reminding me to do it. But remember its about making sure the road is safer!!!! You see a car travelling at 50km/h with only one brake light will kill anyone it goes near. Whereas a car doing 50km/h with both brake lights will only severely cripple them!!! Helpful little fuckers aren't they!

yep cos its now ilegal and its a $50 fine the kents, I will do it if Im out of sight of the officer

100% exactly right !!! on the highway headn out of like glenorchy way headn towards claremont just where it goes downhill into an uphill rise goen from 80 into 100, very sneaky he hides behind the tree every couple days... big long straight... doesnt need to be a camera there... Cameras in dangerous spots well deserve to be there

I've flashed before on my bike and got pulled over, he knew I was flashing people and obviously so did i, but all i said was bike headlights always look like they're flashing cause every little bump moves the bike. He said bullshit so I said we'll see you in court then if you give me a ticket, no ticket surprise surprise...

but if u turned them on and off a few times on low beam they couldn't do nothing

i have been known to "get it out"

what i find funny is how many people complain about how they put the speed camera ahead sign in front of the 4wd/van. It's actually legal for them to do that as all it has to be is displayed. Very rare when someone puts its in front these days.

Then you get the kents that hide behind poles in school zones then nail a person and run out in front of them and hail them to the side of the road..Recently seen it done outside Cosgrove high & the Magic take a way shop on Derwent Park road

really thats gotta suck balls there is a place in qld bernarby there is bridge off a corner and the speed limit changes on the bridge unsigned and the copper sits off the bridge in the tall grass
