Hey Guys, im planning a cruise on sunday the 8/11/09.

It will involve,

leaving from Ballina to mt tambo pub on the top of mt tambo with the best view of the gold coast for lunch and chat then down the mountain to the spit for the afro,

the details are as follows:

it will be a full day event.

Meeting at the Ballina community centre at 9:30am for a 10am leave.
(new building next to IGA ballina central)

For Lismore and northern people we can meet you at the lookout at the top of St Helena hill looking over byron at 10:30am
if you dont want to drive to Ballina.

driving up the hwy either up the old hwy which was a winner with everyone on the last cruise or just shooting up the main hwy, will decide this on the day to what everyone wants to do, since day light savings is on we have time to do either way.

once on the coast we will be heading up mount tamborine very nice road with bends and straights allowing a great drive up till we reach the top, there is a very nice pub up the top where we have stopped before of other cruises, it has a great veiw of the goldcoast and a great meal!!

once we have had lunch and a chat we will leave and go down the other side of the mountain which is a great drive for the down run, then back on the hwy till we exit to go into surfers to the spit where every car fan goes up there on a sunday arfo..

once we r there it is open for anyone to leave what ever time, usual time for us is bout 4 pm qld time so 5 pm our time, but if everyone want to we will drive through surfers and then head south on the gold coast hwy and then onto the main hwy, maybe pull into the chindera servo for maccas snack and fuel then back to ballina.

should be a great cruise, i went up tambo today to for a drive, found a great road and i booked a table at the pub so all is looking good!

I got myself + maybe 2 or 3 more cars

I do believethat there's quite a few but don't know exact numbers on who's coming. I've managed to get 2-3 cars myself. An hoping to get more on Thursday night at teh carpark.
