I am in need of a place to adjust my coilovers so they are all the same height (and tight) as well as replacing a LR toe arm adjuster nut and doing a full wheel alignment???

anyone in hobart who does this?

cheers

The only business that I would trust to do the whole job including the wheel alignment would be Birdwood Automotive but they're pretty pricey i think.

I wouldn't trust ANY of the tyre places to do it. I'd get Tas Mobile Mechanics to adjust the height and they can outsource the wheel alignment for you.

Make sure U do some research and specify the alignment specs you want otherwise they'll align to factory specs which is usually poo.

Just get a measuring tape, park on level ground and do one wheel at a time, then measure it so its even. How i did mine, A bit time consuming though. For wheel alignment get -1.5 degree camber on front, .5mm toe in and as much caster as they can get, for the rear just get 1 degree of negative camber, Will notice the improvment heaps, Ive played with mine a lot and this is probablt the best ive found so far.

take it to Blackmans Bay autos and talk to Ben there, Tell him i sent you, Will get a good Price.

lol sorry, but why autocraft or pedders?? Look on the fprums for alignments other ppl are happy with, take the car and said alignments to birdwood motors to get aligned and your done. Autocraft will out source and pedders will put an apprentice on the job. Birdwood havean old analogue aligner which is calibrated regularly and is only ever operated by the single person that had ran/maintained it for quite a number of years.

My choice for the ae86 if its ever finished for sure. Ask brad bout hos various tyre joint aligents, visably out by naked eye everytime

If I was in your shoes I would be listening to the ppl that know more about it, I figure they know more as you have asked and they have answerd.
I will be taking my car where Delazy takes his, If its good enough for him and his little car it would be fine for everything else.

autocraft do their wheel alignments in house and know subi's very well. Have been building and maintaining winning cars for years. I'd trust what was said about tire companies tho!
