Hi, I would like to know if you have a supercharger on a vehicle in Tassie, does it have to have an engineers report and a blue plate?
Thanks

Depends on what car it is if the car come out stock standard with a turbo / supercharge option then no.

Only if the s/c is going on same size displacement motor that the car come out with so if its a VR 3.6L V6 they has an option to S/C it if you supercharge the 3.6L its all good but if you supercharged a 308 would need a mod plate but its tassie youcan away with a fair bit.

Hello. My 1uz soarer has a qld mod plate, for the charger, It passed down here no worries for tas rego. As long as it has a mod plate from some engineer, somewhere in the country you should be fine. thumbsup.gif

i'd check with someone that actually knows what they're talkin about. ring an automotive engineer out of the yellow pages they'll give you an answer in 2 seconds and it'd be correct not just some guess from any of us on here.
