Well done to both Casey Stoner and Mark Webber

A good weekend for the Ausies, one on two wheels the other on four.
Great to see Casey doing so well in spite of his recent illness, and Mark, in spite of his run of bad luck.

Stoner has come back so strong after his 2 months off. I can only think how he would have gone if is was 100% all season.
Great rider!
Ohh, and I was happy to hear that Webber won too, good to see he is winning some races and sitting well in the championship

Webber will be 4th in the championship, a fabulous effort. With a bit of luck and a strong car, next year he could be a contender. The 2 victories this year will give him alot of confidence
and stoner, well what a ride, those power slides over lukey heights were awesome. A fully fit casey would have challenegd for the championship. Onto next year!

I am happy for the new world champion as well. Jenson Button -- one of the world's genuinely nice guys -- certainly deserve this. And kudos to Webber as well!

ALSO something the media didnt give much coverage to, was also last weekend, Gold Coaster Jason Crump won his 3rd world speedway championship (solo bikes) he is now in the very elite of the best ever speedway riders, was still very injured & sore from skingrafts when he won the title last weekend, SOLO SPEEDWAY RACING is a hard tough & at times very brutal sport
SO HUGE CONGRATS TO JASON
Shame he doesnt get the recognition he deserves in Aust

Can't wait for the final F1 race in the Middle East! It's anti-climactic I know but it sure is going to be a nice ending to a year of controversy.

Well just finished watching the Abu Dhabi race. And WHAT A RACE! The last few laps were intense! Webber and Button battling for 2nd, was truly a joy to watch. Class drive by the top 3 drivers. Bring on 2010! I'm contemplating going to the Abu Dhabi race next year, would be a fantastic experience.

I know what you mean! I was on the edge of my seat while watching the last few laps. I think it was a fitting ending to a year of controversy in F1.
