Looking into getting (for project car) a BEE*r style rev limiter (Ignition cut not fuel cut)
Or a Aftermarket ECU that offers this style of Limiter.

ok its simple,
I want to keep power whilst hitting the limiter when drifting,
Fuel cut just destroys your nice clean line when linking corners (in my opinion).

And Also i wouldn't mind Getting that Gnarly "BANGFLAMEBANGFLAMEBANGFLAMEBANGFLAME" when hitting the limiter

Want to find out some pro's and cons about this style of rev limiter and place's i may be able to buy one,

Ive drifted for years but it was always "Buy coil overs up your boost and lock your diff" but this time i want to do it properly and take it seriously,

I plan on Running a RB20DET (also looking for one at the moment) for My R31 S3,

Can anyone Please shed some light onto this topic for me,

is it a smart upgrade?

is it hard to install?

What limiters of this type are available?

What am i looking at price wise?

What problems Arise?

What problems are solved?

any info at all really would be very much appreciated,

Thanks Kindly.

Easy upgrade, kills your cat (won't be a problem), can shatter ceramic turbine wheels/oil pumps, etc.
If you have it set to soft limit instead of the bang bang then it's less of a problem.

Is the Soft limiter just a Fuel cut though?

Should be fine if i dont hang on the limiter to much, its only on occasion that ill be holding near or on the limiter, its just the fue cut kills power whilst drifting and really shits me lol

Cheers for the help
