Most uncomfortable seats are found in ek civics.

I have taken a mates gt forester seats out of a wreck and going to put them in. Any hints with making this work?

I know of a friends crx that had 99 wrx seats put in so I know it's feasible.

Drove 750 km over weekend into nsw and my ass and back may be damage from no lumbar.

Try fit the civics seat rails to the forester seats, they may need modifying but it could be done. Also make sure the seats are not to wide.
