getting a 140cc big wheel, have found 1 with a twin style frame for $1250 or one with a single style frame for $800, other that that both bikes seem very much the same, i'll only be riding around the yard and maybe some bush. i'm still learning to ride so won't be doing any hektik shit, lol. parts for the $800 bike are cheaper and service seems much better but never bought any sought of bike before so not sure as what to look for (yes i know they're cheap chinese shit but its jsut for fun and if i break it it's cheap to fx).

so any info ppl can give would be appreciated smile.gif

mate we've bought about 12 bikes off Atomik Motorsports. They are an ebay seller and have a good range of bikes. Ive got 2 125cc and a 150cc, they are well made bikes, easy to get parts for.

lol youv got to be kidding? i bought a 250 from atomik and it was the worst built piece of crap ever..and getting parts???!! fark me i waited nearly 6 months for a part once..and they still sent the wrong part..very bad experiences with them from day one (didnt even send the right bikes in the first place!)..shocking products matched with apauling after sales service. just my 2c lol, would never ever buy anything from them again

mate pretty much 90% of pit bikes are interchangable parts with any other bike, Ive never bought parts off them. Buy all my parts off small wheel deals at Lawnton.

I ride my 150cc pretty nuts, so far have only snapped the rear swingarm bolt which was an easy fix. Aside from doing tubes and a couple of chains no issues at all. I bent a valve from an over rev early in its life which I had apart and back together and run in over a weekend.

Compared to a mates pit boss it might not have as much anodised alloy (which you are bound to break anyway) its half the price and just as good.

x2 much better off spending a tad more and getting a decent second hand 'real bike'. If your just starting out then something like a 125 two stroke might be a good option..would pick up a decent one for around 2k or less and will have heaps more fun on it than a dirty pit bike.
