Do most of you guys run oil coolers and bigger rads? and power steering coolers as well?

We pretty much run coilovers. Billy in the cefy dont have the best setup. But it suits his style his car is very hard but rebound rates are not all that good. I would say its to stiff and he would be better to soften it up and use some adjustable sway bars as well. But as i said it suits his driving. I was running a alloy radiator and that was it. Some use oil coolers and i would suggest that but power steer coolers are not really needed unless you want it for piece of mind. We normally only get around 10-15 laps each session and there is a 1.2klm straight to cool the car down. Mine would get to around 100 then would use the water spray on the intercooler and radiator and get it back to bout 90 before the lext drift lap.

Nice man, Gonna have to setup the cooler just right dont wanna fuck the engine hey.
Looks like a mad track hey no shit. Im pretty sure that turbo cars love the humidity as well?
Does anyone have any footage off tandems on the track.
The go kart track there, whats the go with that, any good for drifting?

Turbo cars dont like the heat or the humidity. There is some footage of tandam stuff but we have only just started being allowed to do it so we dont get that close. You have to remember Drift is just starting out in Darwin and this is the first real year of it but its grown fast. So yeah we shall get there.
As for the GoKart track the hot mix is to thin so they wont let us drift there. But the actuall race track has a bit of everythin on it. Some fast sections and some slower big entry sections.
roy-ceffy89

you take the car to parap MVR they are pretty cool there if your car is not defectable, when i took my van over i had a few little things to fix and they were helpful
keep your car in good safe condition, dont act like a tard on the street and you wont get hassled

I cant tell you how much you should listen to that comment right there. If you stick to that you will be ok. If you get pinned once you will lose your car and they wont leave you alone. So leave the fun stuff for the track mate its just not worth it.

We werent allowed to drift tandem for a long time. But TEDA have come far and are now allowed to drift the whole track in Tandem or trains etc. You will have a blast dont worry mate. Its a wicked fast track with the opportunity to work on big entries.

Didn't know you've worked on my car BJ.
Ive done pretty much all suspension upgrades I can do with the old girl. Without replacing whole lower control arms etc, etc.
I'm running TEIN coilovers was the first thing I bought for her when I got her. Tie rod ends, caster arms, rear caster arms, upgrade sway bars tower braces front and rear.
Still yet to worry about 'fixing' per-say the handbrake it works but not to the level that it could be utilised better. Still hasn't effected my drifting style as people can tell. I just don't use it. When the Massive entry comp comes in then she'll get some work done on her.
Depending on where your are on the track their are a fair few fast parts in her. Turn 7 'the sweeper' I for the first time looked a the speedo when going through that corner and had 140km on the guage.

Yeah i have buddy. Seems you forget alot of shit hey. Oh well.
As for the 140klm that is slow wheel speed for that corner dude. DOuble check it you should be hitting at least 160 in wheel speed. I hit close to 180 in wheel speed at turn 10. Got it on video of you wanna see it.
