CPU is $60 more than it should be GPU is ~$100 more than it should be MB doesn't exist RAM is OK, bit excessive but deccently priced (Depends what brand / specs really) HDD is a bit eh, you can grab 1TB for ~$100

sorry the mother board should say asus p5q.se2
Id rather go with a qx9770 or a q6700 cpu something with abit more balls. In la la land id love a i7 but price wise its a dream lol. HDD as you said a 1tb would be better same with video card a nivida geforce 9800 gx2 has some very good reviews
So i think i might chop and change the list and come up with something i like and see what his price is

Is this a system for gaming? Just get an i5, LGA775 is dead. 4GB is plenty for gaming.
How much are the 9800 GX2's? I would personally grab a 4870 or 4890 (5850 or 5870 if you have the money).

PM me what you're after.
also, if you're on a budget, i'd suggest AMD over Intel.

Chris is on the ball with this one. i5 or i7 for the latest games , socket 775 cpu's are gawnskies but you can still get great gaming performance out of any dual/quad core cpu dont get me wrong.
8gb is too much , you only really need 4 but $230 is a good price and later down the track when 8gb is essential you will already have it.
gtx260 is a good card , but wait just a little longer for the 3 series

For general use (Eg. Gaming, emails, ect) i'd suggest AMD.
CPU doesn't matter all that much for games.
