That sucks to hear, always thought they were a unique piece of equipment. I've been looking around for an older one cos i'm currently on a 1 year good behaviour licence so i thought a buell might be the bike to just putt round on rather than the gsxr which seems to love having it's neck rung and i feel sorry for it when i have to short shift it everywhere. Not too sure as to the models to look out for. anyone know much about them?

I know that not many here would be a fan of the Buell but they are actually a pretty fun bike to ride.
Its a shame to see it happen but was inevitable with the sales they've been having over the last few years. Hopefully some cashed up bloke with buy them out and save the brand as i think they have a future in the motorcycle community world wide just there marketing sucks!!!

Buell took a huge step ahead when they stopped using those HD anchors for engines and switched to the rotax engines. Pity this is happening though. I dont mind the Buells... before I bought my R6 I was looking at them. Just a bit to pricey for what they were though

As a Buell owner I can tell you they are unreal and turn heads everywhere. They love corners and pull like a train.
At the moment Wackers are doing REALLY good deals . Talk to Tony Sutton and see what he can do, he might blow your mind but get in quick because they are sooooo cheap that they are running out the door. Guys I know now own 2 as they are so cheap
