(Sorry if repost but really first time on here and didn't find much on how much people have lost).
Generally whats the most weight you have lost and why did you decide to loose it.
For me
I was bullied about being over weight in grade 10 and start of grade 11
I was sick of never been able to find a girl..
But now I am more confident without a shirt than i have ever been in my life.. ive been training little over a year but intense training for about 4months. When i started the gym i weighed 86kg's and im a short dude and had no muscle (170cm's i think) , so i was pretty chubby..
i now weigh anywhere from 72-73 kg's depends what i ate that day.. and i can lift over my body weight.
In high school my bench maxed out on 45kg's so im very happy
im currently the happiest i have been in years concerning my weight, and a lot more confident than i have ever been..

I was 60kg when I started at about 175cm at about 14% body fat. I"ve been as heavy as 94kg at about the 13-15% bf level. Most of the past few years I've been between 83kg at 6% to 89kg at 9%. Training has fluctuated alot due to lifestyle changes, work changes, relationships etc. Past 2 years have been pretty shit, generally ranging from 84kg-90kg but fluctuating between about 10-15%. Been a few reasons for this, predominantly working lifestyle has meant that I haven't been able to train very much and diet has been terrible. Coupled with injuries, it hasn't been a productive period with training.
But that's all about to change, putting the Unit back in B Unit

dunno how much weight i have lost but i started at 22% body fat and down to 17% - i weigh 68kg atm, still got a fair bit to go but small results just keep you motivated that you are progressing, realistic goal is that i get down to 15% before i leave for overseas in mid december, my "dream" goal is i get down to even 12% but yeh not sure weight wise what it is, probs only couple kg

You have been doing quite well, if only everyone else in Australia showed the same kind of commitment.
I was only 68 kg before I even picked up a weight.
I'm now hovering around 80 with a BF% hovering around 15%. After my current program finishes (focussed on weight gain) i'm going to try and cut my BF back to atleast 10% or lower, whatever I can hold comfortably before summer hits.

I'm about the same size as OP, 170cm(ish) and about 73-75kgs at about 8-9% bf, but this depends what I eat for the day. Can't really remember how much I've lost or gained since I've been lifting routinely since about 14 (18 now) been as high as about 80kgs though.

what do you train for?
I train just for the enjoyment of it. For many years I was modelling part time also and did things like calendars and posters etc, couple of cat walk shows as well. For many years I said competing never interested me, even though some of my friends were doing it. Then in 2004 I decided screw it, and did the IFBB Brisbane Titles, skipped the Novice Class and went in the Under 80kg class and came 3rd. 6 months later I was preparing for the Qld Titles and was bigger, harder and leaner, and actually struggling to get myself under the 80kg mark in time. Sadly I ended up very ill with a chronic chest infection and was forced to pull out 6 days before the event. Very exhausted I still went along to watch the show, and kept having people wish me the best of luck for today, as I was still shreaded

That year was probably one of the most productive for my training, as the muscle rebound effect you get after dieting is incredible. I strongly suggest anyone to compete at least once to give it a go, plus the quality muscle size it helps you to gain afterwards is so worth it. I have a few people trying to talk me back into competing next year, but it's a frightening experience for me. I'm not good up in front of crowds, but that's more the reason that I should, for the personal challenge.

Ah that sucks! earlyer this year i was training for my first fight, when i caught glandular fevor, because i was training about 4 times a week and running the days i wasn't training, so i was just pushing myself constantly without sleeping enough. i became very very sick, where i would only get up for about 2 hours a day, about a week before it i wasn't showing any signs of improving and i had lost about 10kg's my trainer pulled me out. i was shattered

soo upset.
i've only just started getting back into intense training in the last month or so, but ive been getting slack and drinking most weekends so i gotta cut that before i get serious.

Took alot of guts to do this but here goes.
I am a real skinny person. Been going to the gym for a month now and using protein shakes. Diet has stayed the same but with added protein shakes. I am in no rush and would like to see how far I can get by the end of summer then work out a goal.
You may not notice any difference, but i certainly feel stronger and ALIVE.
Here are some pics of before and after.
As you can see, I am rather scrawny but now i have some muscles

What is your diet like mate? You are skinny, but that's ok. You have a good base to start with. But seriously, you NEED TO EAT!!! You have to eat so much that you hate food, then eat some more.

2004 - 130kg
This very instant i'm 93-94kg, was hoping to make it to 90kg before I started GVT again but that will happen next time.
I was bullied entire time I was at school, and I wanted to become healthy and try to meet a chick..So far, becoming healthy is the only thing happening. haha
Next step in this for me is to compete.

well im sorta in the same boat as aaron except i'm still in grade 11, i'm 190cm tall and used to weigh about 100kg, then i started eating better excercising more and going to the gym, and now i weigh 105-110kg (and yet i've been losing fat), i've mainly been working on my legs and so far i can leg press 260kg (which is roughly 2.3 times my weight) so now i'm going to start to concerntrate on my upper body, when i can afford too

so really i've lost no weight, but been losing fat

Lost 30kg, then put on 15 (back to a good weight). Probably lost about 10% body fat and put on a decent amount of muscle.

Last year I got really serious about my health and lost a bit of weight. Over a 3yr period I went down from 134kg to 73kg(about 61kg lost total), I lost the last 27kg in about 6.5 months through tracking my calories and eating lots of whole and healthy foods with regular jogging and compound lifting in the gym. I am 5'10.5" and a solid build.
I ended up at under 5% bodyfat at the end, then I bulked up with strength training to 107kg and now am cutting down to around 85kg. Am a bit bigger than I was and much healthier, I suffered from depression and astma and now things are a lot better.
I will look much better this time around when getting lean as I have a little more muscle on my frame.

I stopped doing cardio and my food intake wasn't the greatest.
Weekends i tend to put 2kg back on due to amount of carbs i eat and have 1-2cheat meals because i do chest/back on sat and legs on sun..

Week before Xmas last year I started at 74kg, end of week I was at 67 (183cm tall). That was simply 6km on the Cross-Trainer each day staying over 15kp/h. Kept it off since and have put on a little muscle, but now I'm gonna try get my front and back as ripped as possible for summer and trying to lose the muffin top/ass asap. Any pointers would be fantastic
