jus a quick question for the commy club i have a mate colin wheatly who owns the joes garage gemmini u prob all know it he has jus finished it and would like to know if he could run it on the 1st just a few shakedown runs u know jus to get the feel of the new set up etc we have the okay from the pres of the tdra and stuff but would like to know if some one from the club could give him the yay or nay this is a car that could be running into the 8s this season.He will put on a good show for u guys loves his skids any feed back would be appreciated from the pres or the guys that are running the show that day would be good

The TRDA Dragway site stated that L platers couldn't race. Its probably to do with their insurance or something. The site is broken at the moment so I can't post the link

thats a no for the learners asked scott last nite andra doesnt allow passengers on in the car and l platers need them

LOL L platers don't need passengers wen they're not on the road haha.

there licences dont allow them to drive any car with out fully licenced driver and the andra wont allow passengers in drag cars down the 1/4 mile mate so lol

CAMS and ANDRA have a lot of different rules. People might not agree with all of them but thats the way it is.

my mate broke jasons pb in it without using nos will go nuts now sett up rite now for draggin he will be using the 250 of nos will prob run very very fast i think jasons pb in it was 10.8 with the nos it should go quicker now had more money spent on it since

Yeh their ROAD licence. Road licences don't apply on the drag strip or track. I already know there are no learners allowed for whatever reason. maybe they prefer P platers at minimum for on-road experience or watever but I hope it's got nothing to do with passengers because OF COURSE learners don't need passengers wen they're not driving on a public road hence why motokhana, drift, club days, hill climbs etc. etc. are ALL fine with that.
