hey, well i just got an amp n sub off here. bout 3 hours ago, i hooked it all up securely and everything.. turn the car on.. no lights come on , on the amp..

i have a bmw, so my battery is in the boot of the car... not sure if that matters.. i have wired up all my previous cars and never had this problem....

its a 2 channel amp .. 8 guage wiring kit.. same as my last ones..

any help would be wonderful.

n if you live close by. if you come over n look, that would be muchly appreciated. im at westlake 4074

Have you checked there is power AT the amp??? I.E. With a test light?

Is the EARTH good...mounted tight and to metal NOT paint?

i got it working briefly.

i bridged the remote wire on the amp to the positive red wire. now its not working again,,,,


?

ok amps working just great.. now, sub wont work.

Check that there is some output from the terminals with a random speaker and some wires first...maybe you have the sub wires bridged incorrectly?

ok pretty sure my gear is fine now... im starting to think its my head unit.. its an eonon 5" single din.. its rca outputs are strange ? got red n white for rear out put, red n white for front output n thats it?
