Pity the headunit wasn't hidden, as it looks out of place. Otherwise this is just a beautiful example of a gorgeous car.
I thought we only got the C110 model as the 240K though, not the super sexy KPGC10 (the GT-R above). Even so, with real early model GT-R prices making them unattainable for most, it'd be nice to get a 240K and build a replica using a worked N/A RB20, RB25 or RB26 with individual throttles, lumpy cams, high compression, etc. Wouldn't need huge horsepower, and keeping it N/A would be great so the throttles could be clearly on display and induction noise would be tasty.
And in a side note, it is interesting to note that Japanese manufacturers used to build some really attractive cars. This is no sleight on Nissan alone, but they're current range of sportscars (370Z and GT-R) definitely aren't near as attractive as some of their older stuff such as the KPGC10 GT-R, CSP311 Silvia, SR311 Fairlady, 240Z, etc. Other manufacturers are just as guilty - look at older cars such as the Honda S800 and Toyota 2000GT. And even more recently they've been replacing quite attractive cars with crap (or not replacing them at all), with suchs victims as the Subaru MY99 & MY00 WRX, Nissan S15 Silvia/200SX, Nissan R34 GT-R (the R35 looks tough as nails, but not attractive), Toyota Supra, Toyota Celica, Toyota MR2, Honda Prelude, Honda Integra, Honda S2000, Honda NSX, Honda CRX.
mentioning "silvia" in any thread pertaining to performance and or beauty is an EPIC FAIL Adam............
