Ok I already posted this in the TAS offtopic but I know theres a few of you cubans lurking around these parts so I'll put it here too:
Hey all, I hate being one of those douchebags that uses boost serious requests, but sadly its come to that...
Long story short, I'm a Radiography student at RMIT and I have 4 weeks of clinical placement at The Royal Hobart Hospital starting next Monday 19/10 and ending Friday 13/11 and I'm looking for somewhere to stay for part or preferably all of that period. Unfortunately my original accommodation plans fell through a bit last minute and I have a place I can stay for the first couple of days, maybe a week at the most from Sunday when I arrive. Seeing as the hospital doesn't have any on-site accommodation, my options are limited to either staying at the University of Tasmania, or at a backpacker hostel, both of which are quite expensive, and I am fairly poor.
So, I was hoping one of you, or someone you know might have a spare room to rent for a few weeks somewhere near Hobart?
I'm a 21 year old bloke, very easy going, clean and courteous... Love a beer and a good time... I would be gone from 8am-6pm weekdays and probably gone mostly on weekends checking out your island state.. the rest of the time I will most likely be trying to study or exercise or something... I'll find something to do. Point is I wouldn't be imposing on your normal routine, or at least I'd do my best not to.
Also I've been out of home 3 years now so I'm pretty used to sharing living space with people I didn't previously know and I'm perfectly capable of looking after myself.
As far as rent goes, tell me what you think is reasonable and we'll go from there. I would be hoping to pay at the start of each week, but that could be negotiated later.
Anyways hopefully someone can help a mainland brother out..
