Fitting aftermarket head unit to 04 VY commodore.

Its a 2DIN unit.

Solder wires together?

or get adapter and use pins to plug wires into new headunit?

Im keeping the car for a while so solder?

or for easy installation, use adapter plug and pins?

Get an adaptor, easier. Can also pin the harness AFAIK but will need crimpers + pins.

Yep, those are the ones. Completely reversible for the factory loom, and along as they are crimped properly and taped up well they are very durable.
