Damn Straight. Supercars are BOOOOOOORRRRRRRRIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG. Most pointless motorsport on the planet.

They should be racing car as they come from the showroom floor with a harness and a cage and thats IT. Stock tyres, stock brakes, stock suspension.. then we'd see a real racing.. and it might actually have some bearing on the car you decide to spend ur $$.. bring back the good old days of Homologation.

Keep an eye out for the Production Cup Phil. There is a heap of tarmac rallying on this year too, SBS will cover most of it. Real racing.

Yay the Holden shell won! Shame its not really Holden V Ford guys, thats why I dont understand why people get revved up about Bathurst.

Because the guys and girl competing are top Australian athletes you idiot! And just like the nation who watches other athletes compete some of us who arent narrow minded fucks and like many different motor sports like to watch and cheer for our own as well!!

Bathurst seems to be the only MS event every year that leaves the winning spot wide open until the very last corner!! Its an awesome race and an awesome track - it holds some of Australia's biggest and best Motorsport history.....

Who gives a toss what 'shell' won! there all basically the bloody same anyway! The drivers skills and endurance is awesome to watch.... Not to mention the mishaps and crashes that you can get from racing in those conditions with 4 seasons in one lap!

Yeah but it goes for so long so i just watch the last 30-50 laps and they usually do a wrap up of the 'good' bits at the end!! Plus the good thing with Mystar is to tape and fast forward later!!

no Tander should have been black flagged for his 2 shots on kelly and for that car a lap down on the restart.

whincup was past the b pillar in bargwanna's car. so bargwanna needed to giveway. he also blocked him one side the blocked him when he crossed over. he just didnt think it was going to happen the other way a couple of laps later (first one was inside to outside, second was outside to inside) ballsy move fact was he had right of way read the rules.

i find it funny in the same story posted on v8's webpage, Bargwanna is complaining about the whincup thing, further down tander is saying its a bit of bump and tumble and basically harden the fuck up.

also skaife and murphy probably deserved to win it most, it was funny i was just talking to dad about they should pit now get it out of the way and have a strong run to the finish. 2 laps later saftey car and they drop back to 8th costing them the race.

no no i have to disagree with you there.

NASCAR is the most boring, the cars arent even real cars, the only race on round tracks, the only time they are exciting is when there is a massive crash. when that happens you think shit that was bad i hope all the drivers are ok.

MMM Dodge Daytona/Plymouth superbird.... funnily enough the parity in nascar came about for similar reasons to the supercars. Basically Mopar was stomping everything with the 426 HEMI... so it got banned (sound familer skyline fans????)

V8 supercars is one of the most succesfull motor racing series in the WORLD and Bathurst is ranked 3rd in the WORLD for motor racing events and in fact with drivers from all over the WORLD ranked the no.1 event because they can enter if invited unlike F1.

So keep hating because your a minority and one thats rarely even heard.
